Behavioral Health Addiction Urgent Care (BHAUC) is a center for individuals suffering from substance use disorder and mental illness. The program is a gateway to getting clients in needed treatment for addiction and/or mental crisis by providing an evaluation, bed search and support from our team. Weekly clinical supervision to meet clinical licensing requirements
Conduct eligibility screenings and comprehensive intake and follow up assessments to assess eligibility, gather clinical information, and inform treatment planning
Conducts client evaluations including bio-psychosocial assessment, diagnostic formulation and initial treatment recommendations.
Meet with clients for individual counseling to assist in attaining treatment goals.
Write treatment plans including client’s strengths with behaviorally based goals and objectives. Document progress of goals and objectives in progress notes.
Document service delivery activities according to program standards
Maintain productivity standard as set by supervisor.
Attend all scheduled meetings on time and remain for duration of meeting. Participate in agency committees, or community education as assigned.
Be an active participant in the multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Recognize and seek consultation as needed. Develop a training plan to enhance professional growth.
Refer clients to appropriate resources with and outside CHL.
Follow all policies and procedures of the agency.
Work assigned hours, which may include rotation of weekends and evening hours.
Participate in utilization management, employ CARF standards and assist as needed in re-accreditation processes and perform other job-related duties.
Build working relationships with agencies and organizations in support of clients’ recovery to facilitate referrals and care coordination
Work closely with MMAT clinical team (Recovery Coach, Nurse, and Psychiatrist) to coordinate services
Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
Grade 7- Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Grade 8- Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
Experience in the area of practice is desirable.
Must be able to pass a CORI background check
