Community Healthlink Acute Youth Treatment RN in Worcester, Massachusetts

Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a Part time (24 hrs/wk) Acute Care RN in Worcester.
The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work toward recovery. This program is staffed 24/7.
This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic, engaged, and caring team that is focused on supporting clients and staff in developing their potential.
Assist with intakes.
Complete nursing assessments of clients screening and testing for but not limited to such diseases as Covid 19, diabetes, hypertension, tuberculosis etc.
Implement detox protocols.
Supervise residents in unit.
Dispense medications.
Provide detox relevant education and counseling to residents.
Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist with the development of appropriate individualized aftercare treatment plans.
Assist with and contribute to multi-disciplinary treatment planning.
Follow guidelines and procedures established by unit RNs, Director of Nursing and Medical Director.
Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.
Grade N08: Acute Care RN: Valid and current RN license required.
Experience working in Substance Abuse and/or mental health is preferred.
Commitment to providing outstanding care required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills a plus.
