Ethos Veterinary Health Veterinary Technician - Ophthalmology in Woburn, Massachusetts
Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, located in Woburn, MA is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Ophthalmology team.
About the Job: As a Vet Tech in the Ophthalmology department you have the opportunity to:
Assist doctors during appointments by obtaining thorough patient history as well as performing diagnostics such as Schirmer Tear Test, fluorescein stains, and tonometry.
Sterile scrub to assist Ophthalmologist during surgical procedures.
Provide comfort, diagnostic, surgical, and nursing care to all patients
Openly communicate with pet owners to provide continuity of care.
Shifts: This is a 40 hour, 4 shift per week position to include one weekend shift in the future.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required. Candidates with an Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Veterinary Technology will be considered.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service are required
