Ethos Veterinary Health Veterinary Assistant - Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging in Woburn, Massachusetts
Mass Vet Referral Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant for our Radiology Department.
About the Job: As a VA in the Radiology department you will have the opportunity to assist doctors and technicians by:
Partnering with Veterinarians in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
Patient restraint and handling for obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
Utilizing different modalities of imaging for patient assessment, including digital radiology, ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy.
Maintenance of the work space and simple equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a veterinary hospital setting is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge and experience with computer systems and the ability to troubleshoot technology is preferred.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
Positive outlook and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
