Ethos Veterinary Health E-VET Program Director in Woburn, Massachusetts
Ethos Veterinary Health (http://www.ethosvet.com) is seeking a Program Director for our Ethos Veterinary Emergency Training (E-VET) Program based at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA.
The E-VET Program Director is responsible for the management, oversight, and ongoing improvement of the E-VET training program. This includes responsibility for the direct instruction, mentorship, and clinical oversight of E-VET trainees as well as management of other Ethos clinicians involved in mentoring the trainees. The Program Director will collaborate with the VetBloom (https://vetbloom.com/) and Ethos Medical teams to continually develop and grow the program to position it as the premier emergency training program in the industry, preparing graduates for a successful and rewarding career as Ethos emergency clinicians. This will be a hybrid position with some direct clinical responsibilities.
The Ethos Veterinary Emergency Training (E-VET) Program
The E-VET Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the E-VET program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work balance.
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care
OR minimum 5 years of experience working in emergency medicine
Experience working in a mentorship or formal training program
Passionate about learning and taking an active role in continuously improving the competency-based curriculum
Strong leadership and communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented
