About the Job


The Oncology Registered Nurse uses their oncology-specific clinical knowledge to offer individualized assistance to patients, families and caregivers as they navigate their cancer journey.

As a clinic RN, the nurse is responsible for routine nursing aspects of the clinic, which include clinical care, telephone triage, symptom management, management of patients on oral chemotherapy, administering injections, data gathering and chart updating, patient education, and monitoring and follow-up of patients.

In this role, he/she is a member of a multidisciplinary care team that requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers and staff as well as collaborating institutions and agencies. The role requires clinical expertise, critical thinking, collaborative practice, excellent communication skills and an understanding of the principles and practices of clinical research.


  • Licensed Nurse in the state of Massachusetts

  • BS in Nursing (or currently matriculated in BS program) required

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Oncology RN preferred

  • Current oncology nurse certification (OCN) or an ONS Chemobiotherapy provider card preferred


Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
