About the Job
Winchester Hospital is currently offering a paid training program for individuals who are looking for a career as a Nursing Assistant. In this training program, you will attend 13 days of free education (50 hours of classroom and 25 hours of skills) to prepare for you to work as a clinical nursing assistant at our hospital. The training program will take place under the direction of a clinical assistant trainer and/or preceptor, allowing you to learn the essential functions and behaviors to provide patient care support on the inpatient nursing units. Upon successful completion of the program and testing, you will begin working as a Clinical Nursing Assistant with our hospital. Schedules and shifts will be determined during the interview process prior to the start of the training program.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team for safety and quality reasons
