Job Description:

Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an exciting new nurse manager opening in our Maternal Child Health division. Be part of the mission to deliver exceptional personalized care within our Magnet-designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 229-bed hospital.

Reporting to our Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Maternal Child Health Services, as the Nurse Manager of Special Care Nursery, you will lead our team that specializes in a Level IIb Special Care Nursery, providing personalized care and safety for newborns. You will be responsible for the department’s staff management, operations, budget and quality & safety. You will empower your team members to collaborate with physicians and staff to continue the valued reputation that Winchester Hospital cherishes within the community.

In addition to a desire to mentor and coach, ideal candidates will need to have the following:

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in nursing and must obtain MSN within 5 years of hire. Preferred: MSN on hire

  • At least five years of work experience as a nurse, with at least two years’ clinical experience in related fields

  • At least one year of experience in supervisory and budget management is preferred

  • Current Massachusetts RN licensure
