The Strategic Marketing team shapes UniFirst’s intelligence and decisions around products and customers. We are a lean, collaborative team making a big impact on the company. Within our team, the Customer 360 group is responsible for collecting and analyzing customer feedback and amplifying the voice of our customers throughout the organization to help win new business and strengthen existing relationships.
We are seeking a high-potential Customer Insights Associate to join our team. This role will assist with execution of all C360 activities, including research, internal communications & program management. This individual will need to have strong project management skills, feel comfortable with data/analytics, and be eager to champion our customers. The projects this person will support are high-profile and rapidly expanding, so there is a lot of work to be done and opportunity to grow within the team!
Specific expectations of the role are as follows:
Orchestrate ongoing execution of the customer listening programs, including vendor relationship management, user training and support, and change management
Create and manage project timelines, maintain project status reporting, manage project meetings, and ensure deliverables and deadlines are met
Ensure effective processing and transfer of data utilized in customer research activities, including setting up data automation where possible to drive efficiency
Maintain current processes, workflows, and project/process documentation; provide feedback for continuous improvement to project workflows
Develop and maintain professional, friendly relationships and communications with key stakeholders and participants within C360 programs across varying levels in the organization via phone and email.
Manage feedback and requests from internal and external stakeholders
Assist with research program design, execution, analysis, and communication
Qualifications
Requirements:
BA/BS required
PMP and/or CX certification preferred
5+ years of experience supporting customer research programs or similar
Demonstrated ability to manage projects on time and on budget
Analytical orientation, creativity in problem-solving, and eagerness to develop strategic skills while performing a project management-focused role
CX experience preferred, specifically in creating and launching surveys then analyzing the results
Experience creating how-to guides or similar communications content intended for a large-scale audience
Ability to work under supervision/guidance and to be accountable for individual results
A customer champion mentality with a design mindset
Experience with large-scale communications (emails, trainings, webinars)
Strong presentation development capabilities in PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal abilities, including the ability to interact confidently with senior leaders
Desire to work in a highly engaged and collaborative teamwork environment
