Job Title: Operator Mechanic

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate all equipment as necessary.

  • Monitor and control processing operation in accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Maintain records of operations, including but not limited to hourly operating data and abnormal operation conditions.

  • Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.

  • Clean equipment daily as needed.

  • Maintain a professional image at all times.

  • Ability to work a rotating 8- or 12-hour shift

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Driver’s License

Work Environment

You will work in an environmental facility. Physical requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, feeling, lifting up to 50 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing. The work may involve confined spaces and outside environmental conditions. You must be able to wear all required Personal Protection Equipment. The work exposes you to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat, or exposure to bio-solids. Overtime may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
