Provides and assists with a wide range of activities to patients under the direction and supervision of professional nursing staff. The nursing assistant staff remember must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to asses data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed a described in the unit’s/area’s/department’s policies and procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent required; successful completion of nursing assistant certification
CPR certification, CNA Certification
Hours/Schedule: Part-time 32 Hours, 3:00pm-11:30pm (8 hours shifts)
