School-Based Clinical Caseworker Job Category: Clinical Requisition Number: SCHOO005842 Full-Time On-site Outpatient Clinic West Springfield, MA 01089, USA Job Details Description The partnership between CHD and the West Springfield Middle School aims to increase the connections and resources of youth who may be at-risk for substance use and/or violent behavior. The right candidate will be inspired by the potential of bridging gaps and offering services creatively. The role works in collaboration with a Bachelor\'s-level Caseworker to implement the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan designed to address the youth\'s mental health, behavioral and emotional needs. This includes mentoring the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth\'s emotional and mental health needs. The Clinical Caseworker assists with the care coordination with other community providers that are involved with the youth\'s treatment. The Clinical Caseworker will collaboratively work with the Bachelor\'s caseworker, youth, family and school to develop all service plans. Other responsibilities include facilitating small groups, access recreational activities, planning and carrying out community activities, and provide homework help. Requirements: -must have a Master\'s degree in related field -knowledge of basic computer skills -valid driver\'s license -must be available to work M-F 8am-4pm Salary: \$50,000-\$55,000 Qualifications Education Preferred Masters of Science or better.
