Sevita Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Day Health in West Springfield, Massachusetts

Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Day Health Center / Springfield

  • Two positions available: Full time & Part time

  • $5,000 Sign On Bonus (Full Time Only)

    Sevita is excited to announce we are currently hiring for two Registered Nurse's to join our Adult Day Health team.

    Full time : Monday-Friday 8a-4p. No evenings, no weekends, no oncall, no mandates. Be home with your family every night & weekend!

    Part Time : Monday-Friday for about 4 hours a day. Those 4 hours could be completed anytime from 7a-3p (7a-11a, 8a-12p, 9a-1p, 10a-2p 11a-3p). It would pair well with another job if you work an evening or night job. This position requires a Registered Nurse to visit our Springfield facilities as a helping hand to the LPN’s on duty. You’d be there to monitor health conditions, medication administration, and overall ensure quality services are being provided.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and update patient medical records

    • Provide treatment to patients under the direction of a physician

    • Assist patients with obtaining prescribed medication

    • Measure and record patient’s temperature

    • Triage patients who are ill, injured, or who have behavioral issues and provide a safe environment for other patients who are experiencing less serious conditions.

    • Document patient care activities in the patient’s medical record

    • Complete administrative tasks that may include scheduling appointments, preparing reports, etc.

    • Keeps updated and complete medical records, including those for each patient

    • Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor

    Education and Experience:

    • Graduate of an accredited RN program

    • One year experience working with medically complex individuals.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

    • Current state RN License

    • Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services.

    • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
