We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Director of Sales for the Courtyard by Marriott of West Springfield.
This is a great opportunity to join the Marriott family and showcase your talents! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar sales role, and have a proven history of increasing business sales.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through various communication channels using professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal skills and company/franchise programs.
Research and develop new clients and sources of business.
Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations, DMOs, RTCs, etc.
Work with the General Manager and Management Company representatives to achieve sales goals.
Active involvement in Revenue Management.
Effectively communicate with all departments and management team members to ensure that clients, groups and function needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Respond to all sales inquiry’s in a timely and professional manner.
Participate with the management team in overall operations support when needed.
The ideal candidate must be able to easily use and navigate standard industry computer programs and have outstanding written and verbal skills.
Prior sales experience is required. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with lower or mid-level management experience and a proven track record of achievement.
2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major, or High School Degree and 4 years equivalent job experience in sales and/or guest services, front desk or related professional area.
$50,000-$65,000 per year. Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Vision Insurance available. Life insurance policy provided at no expense to Full Time Employees.
