This position is part of the Cell Culture Cell Therapy Business Unit within the Bioproduction Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Remote work available with travel to US and Europe sites, customer visits, and collaboration with various teams.
We are seeking a dedicated Product Manager to join our Cell Therapy team in the US. Lead global product strategies and drive innovative solutions for Cell Therapies business segment.
Essential role reporting to Director, Product Management- Cell Therapies involves defining strategies for business growth.
What will you do?
Lead & manage programs from concept to commercialization (full product lifecycle). Responsible for developing five year product strategies, and pricing/margin optimization
Ensure responsible and accountable life cycle management for specific products, including product complaints
Responsible for working closely with the cross functional teams and ultimately to deliver customer and financial success of new product introductions (NPIs)
Responsible for revenue, customer satisfaction, and market share objectives.
Act as a product champion working closely with collaborators, global and regional marketing and commercial teams, and directly with customers including key accounts.
Develop close ties with field teams by training, participating in sales, customer visits, and support.
Facilitate the Voice of Customer (VOC), enabling data driven decision-making across the portfolio
Develops product development, positioning, and go-to market strategies to enable financial objectives.
Develop arguments for investments and present to peers and leadership.
Provide product management support in business negotiations
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in biology, chemistry or similar required
Master’s degree in scientific field or MBA strongly preferred, equivalent experience accepted
Required Experience
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in product management or product development & commercialization role, plus competitive market research skills
Basic knowledge of the fundamental concepts of intellectual property, patents and contract law
Knowledge of cell therapy market regulations and manufacturing quality standards an advantage
Highly detail-oriented, efficient, and organized approach
Experience working directly with customers.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Products: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI.
Self-starter with the ability to build and implement plans with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in matrix organizational structure.
Outcome orientation and a strong desire to plan to measure the success of initiatives.
Travel: approximately 30% globally

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $113,500.00–$160,000.00.
