Reporting to the Director of Sales – Strategic Accounts, the Hospital Clinical Specialist will operate in support of designated territories in the strategic sales organization to increase productivity and achieve sales goals. The Hospital Clinical Specialist is responsible for helping to maintain current ClearChest sales, increase future ClearChest sales, and discharge shipment growth by providing clinical support within hospital systems in territories within a specified region. This function shares responsibility for established regional ClearChest and Discharge Rx sales goals.

The Hospital Clinical Specialist is responsible for helping to maintain current ClearChest sales, increase future ClearChest sales, and discharge shipment growth by providing clinical support within hospital systems in territories within a specified region. This function shares responsibility for established regional ClearChest and Discharge Rx sales goals.
You are responsible for
80% Serve as a Clinical Liaison to:
Facilitate ongoing clinical training with RespirTech customers in hospital facilities throughout the assigned region
Facilitate ongoing clinical training of Airway Clearance Therapy (ACT) or High Frequency Chest Compressions (HFCC) with hospital employees throughout the assigned region
Influence and educate health care teams to make ACT/HFCC the standard of care within the hospital system
Lead in the implementation, utilization and optimization of ACT or HFCC therapies in hospital systems within the region.
Facilitate the expansion use of ClearChest product throughout hospital departments, such as post op, ICU, Respiratory, and Cardiac Care.
Work directly with hospital staff and case management to identify patients that would benefit from in-home ACT and facilitate hospital to home order process; Interact directly with patients regarding our therapy if necessary
20% Training and CEU/In-services, etc
Coordinate and assist with staff in-services/education when needed
Participate in customer meetings and events as appropriate
Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows, including CF Education Days if necessary
Complete required credentialing for access to hospitals
Attend HIPAA training and other sales training sessions as they arise
You are a part of a

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
B.A. or B.S. degree in related clinical field or equivalent blend of education and experience
Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy or related clinical discipline
Ability to appropriately influence and educate providers
Strong presentation skills & demonstrated ability to quickly demonstrate expertise and quickly gain credibility with an audience of any level and size
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to engage a clinical audience of all levels, including large audiences
Demonstrates persistence in the face resistance, resilience in the face of rejection
Attention to detail
Proficiency at word processing and spreadsheet software applications
Ability to interpret clinical studies and data
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Ability to find creative solutions to traditional problems
Ability to travel overnight (by air or car) 75%
