POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and compassionate HR Coordinator to join our dynamic nonprofit team, reporting directly to the HR and Talent Coordinator. The HR Coordinator will provide critical support to the HR and Talent Coordinator, helping to ensure compliance, employee satisfaction, and the smooth execution of key HR functions. ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist the HR and Talent Coordinator in recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and scheduling interviews. - Support onboarding and offboarding processes to create seamless experiences for new hires and departing staff. - Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies. - Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex matters to the HR and Talent Coordinator. - Assist with gathering and verifying employee data for payroll processing. - Help monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. - Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and training programs. - Support performance review processes, including documentation and tracking. - Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed. - Other duties as assigned by the HR and Talent Coordinator. SCHEDULE Regularly scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite for the majority of the time. Qualifications ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) is a plus but not required. - A genuine interest in and alignment with Kripalu\'s mission and values.
