Description:
Mercy Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Transportation Aide to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators.
This person is responsible various duties in transporting patients and supplies to various patient testing areas of the medical center assigned through the Care Logistic System.
Assists with transferring of patients using proper body mechanics and safe lift equipment.
Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member.
Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
Understanding in computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
Requirements :
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Requires contact with patients’ visitors and staff, which involves good inter-personal and customer service skills.
Work Hours/Shift:
- 40 hours, Nights
