Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Surgical Supply Coordinator to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.

Collaborates with Surgical Services management on purchasing routine materials, supplies and equipment from approved vendors. Additional responsibilities include coordination of services with the departments of purchasing, central supply and engineering. The ideal candidate will repair and replace malfunctioning equipment and instruments obtaining loaners while equipment is out for repair.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, 40 Hours on Day Shift

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Excellent Communicator : Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members.

  • Technical Familiarity: Ability to perform examinations in an accurate and timely manner are also top priority.

  • Active Teamwork : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Requirements :

  • High School diploma or GED. Surgical technician or equivalent OR experience preferred.

  • Medical Terminology required.

  • Experience with supply chain information, preferably Lawson.

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and professionalism when dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.

  • Must be able to lift in excess of 40 pounds.
