Description:
Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at our Pediatrics Speech Lab at Mercy Medical Center. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.
This person is responsible for performing evaluations, direct patient treatment, and documentation for pediatric patients with wide varied developmental delays. SLP identifies appropriate long and short term goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals.

You Will Be Responsible For:
Exceptional Patient Care: Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with a wide variety Developmental delays
Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with administrators, colleagues, patients and their families. Ability to explain clinical, technical and diagnostic procedures to clients and their families, counseling clients and their families and enforcing policies and regulations in difficult situations.
Strong Educator: Provides education and counseling to clients, families and staff.
Technical Familiarity: Documents patient care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department,
Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensure: SLP MA license.
Pediatric experience preferred.
