Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Neurology/Acute Stroke Registered Nurse to assume the responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patients.

Position: RN – Neurology / Acute Stroke

Description: Neuroscience department that specializes in all thing neuroscience. Although strokes are a main focus within this department, other conditions such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, seizures, and spinal/brain lesions are seen here.

Pay: Total Travel Package 36 hours - $2,382 - $2,454/wk

Location: Springfield, MA

Duration: 13 weeks (or longer)

Schedule: 3x12s; 7p-7:30a; E/O Weekend & Holiday.

Start Date: ASAP (2 weeks from being offered a position)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Neurology Acute Care Experience Preferred.

• NIHSS, BLS

• Active Massachusetts RN License or Apply for upon offer (Full Reimbursement)
