Description:
At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies and interventions. As the Assistant Nurse Manger your duties would be to provide oversight for patient care and nursing services. Our work ethic is the cornerstone of all we do at Mercy Hospital. What you will do
In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
Certification : BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS, PALS and PEARS certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience: 2 years of supervisory or lead experience is strongly preferred., Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.
Work Schedule : Full time – 36 hours – 12 Hour Nights
