Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Mercy Medical Center. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

The ideal candidate will display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients. This critical role assists in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time

  • 32 hours per week

  • Day shift

  • 8am – 4:30pm

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Leading and Mentoring: Serves as a role model to promote excellence, clinical competency and safety within the practice of the profession of nursing by supporting/guiding the development of the lifelong learner.

  • Agent of Change: Develops and innovates new models of clinical education platforms that address diverse patient populations throughout the healthcare continuum.

  • Consultant and Facilitator: Collaborates with colleagues on group projects and organizational initiatives for a standardized approach to delivery of care.

  • Education and Professional Development: Contributes to the professional growth and development of nursing staff, through the planning, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for the organization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

  • Licensure: Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.

  • Certification: Wound Care Certification preferred. BLS certification required. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) experience preferred.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Effective communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of acute care experience.
