The Gandara Center Outpatient and Recovery Services Division is seeking a full-time or part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to work in our Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, located in Springfield, MA. We are looking for someone with a Youth Speciality. The candidate must be licensed in Massachusetts, the position is on-site & temporary COVID-19 accommodations are being made. Duties and Responsibilities: Working in an outpatient setting Seeing children, adolescents and adults Meet with clients to complete Individual Psychiatric Evaluations and assess for immediate needs Continue to continuity of care with medication follow up appointments Documentation including assessments, progress notes and collateral contacts Be available for consultation when needed, to staff and other service providers Prescription and management of psychiatric needs Ensure quality care is delivered to clients within a therapeutic environment in a cost-effective manner Demonstrate behaviors that recognize the rights of clients Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of a Master?s Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited school of nursing License: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts Experience: 1 year (preferred) of working with a variety of psychiatric disorders The G?ndara Mental Health Center provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
