Trinity Health Phlebotomist - Long Term Care - 24 hrs - Evenings in Springfield, Massachusetts

Mercy Medical Center, Life Labs, Springfield, MA 24 hours, Evening Shift

Responsible for providing skilled phlebotomy in the Springfield, MA area nursing homes. Your work is vital to the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients. Must have dependable transportation.

What you will do:

  • Receives assignments, obtains required supplies and equipment necessary to carry out task while servicing area nursing homes.

  • Drives personal vehicle to travel to client locations and SPHS facilities. Completes appropriate mileage forms on a daily/weekly basis.

Work Hours/Shift:

• 24 hours, Evening Shift (use of own vehicle, mileage reimbursement is provided)

Requirements :

  • Highschool or GED.

  • Nat'l Phlebotomy Certification preferred. Valid driver’s license in good standing required by the Commonwealth of MA.

  • Technical training in Phlebotomy Program, 1 year of experience, preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; strong phlebotomy skills. Adaptability and flexibility necessary for work schedule and patient care requirements. Good command of the English language and medical terminology.
