• Baystate Medical Center’s experts perform more than 80% of all cardiac surgeries in western Massachusetts. When it comes to heart surgery, we are one of the top three highest-volume medical centers in Massachusetts.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Heart and Vascular Inpatient Unit has 32 private rooms and provides a full array of services for the critically ill cardiac patient to include care of the post cardiac surgery care, post cardiac interventional care, artery blockage, hemodynamic monitoring requiring the use of specialized critical care equipment, and mechanical ventilation support.

SCHEDULE:

• Location: Baystate Medical Center, Springfield MA

• Hours: Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts

• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification

• Medical Surgical experience preferred

• Less than 12 months RN experience
