Our managers will work with you to build a schedule that meets YOUR needs Referral Bonuses and Exemplary Employee Rewards Holiday and Vacation Pay Last Minute Shift Sign-Up Bonuses Job Duties: - Provide bedside care - Administer medications and document therapeutic effects - Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration) - Assist with resident comfort - Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas - Collect samples and monitor catheters - Provide wound care - Help coach staff as necessary - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. - Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. - Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. - Must have experience in geriatric care, work well with seniors with a compassionate, patient and understanding manner, and demonstrate a desire to serve individuals with Alzheimer?s disease or other related dementias - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English - Bilingual welcome but not required - Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job including standing, sitting, bending, and moving and transferring residents (one-person or two-person assist), as well as physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required Medical Specialties and Experience We Look For: Geriatrics, Hospice, Disabilities, Long term care, Nursing homes, Assisted Living, Hospitals Skills and Qualifications Needed: - Associates degree in Nursing, Current LPN license in MA, Up to date first aid and CPR certification, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Nursing Skills, Health Care Administration, Patient Services, Verbal Communication, Listening, Training, Dependability, Emotional Control, Medical Teamwork.
