Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. Function as part of the Operating Room Team. Provide technical support to the perioperative process under the direct supervision of the RN. May include scrubbing and assisting with circulating tasks. Arranging instruments on sterile field. Maintaining an aseptic controlled environment. Assisting with pre-operative review of charts & pre-operative checklist.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time - 7A-7P, plus on-call

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Exceptional Patient Care : Must understand we exist for the patients and their care is the number one priority.

  • Excellent Communicator : Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member.

  • Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

  • Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

  • Active Teamwork : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Requirements :

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of operating room technology

  • Licensure : Successful completion of national exam for certification preferred.

  • Certification : BLS required; Cardiac training and experience required
