Aerotek Certified Medical Assistant in Springfield, Massachusetts

Performs delegated medical tasks, assists the hospital with virtual patient care and will perform clerical duties. The chosen employee can expect to assist with up to 20 virtual appointments daily, this position will also utilize the EMR for documentation purposes.

DUTIES:

  • Uses Medicare websites, Eligibility’ tools, and phone calls to patients to verify patients Medicare eligibility.

  • Performs up to 20 telehealth appointments daily, updates patient info.

  • Asks qualification questions to Medicare beneficiaries.

  • After wellness call is completed, the selected employee will schedule a follow up appointment for the patient.

  • Educates patients on their different benefit options provided.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience as a Medical Assistant, required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, required.

DETAILS:

  • Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm.

  • Paid weekly | Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits offered.

  • Pay – up to $20/hr. depending on prior Medical Assisting Experience.
