VCA South Shore Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced GP or Urgent Care Veterinarian to complement our talented team in South Weymouth, Massachusetts .

South Shore Weymouth is one of the largest VCA hospitals on the East coast at 35,000 square feet! You will enjoy working in our modern, full-service facility. The hospital boasts a spacious treatment area, special procedures room, four surgical suites, and specialized isolation and exotic wards. We are also equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Additionally, our intensive care unit offers the capability of oxygen and temperature support, long-term ventilation, continuous fluids, infused medicine, and advanced patient monitoring. Completing the hospital is an in-house laboratory and pharmacy.

Our General Medicine Department has access to our specialists in our collaborative environment. If you have a patient that needs an ultrasound on the same day? We have got you covered! We also have a satellite location, VCA South Shore Quincy, that we rotate and share doctors with to give you a break from the hustle and bustle at Weymouth!

We offer our Primary Care Associates 4-day work weeks and within those 4 days, you would have at least 1 dedicated surgery day. You will not be required to work any on-call shifts. Also, the benefit of working at a 24-hour emergency and specialty practice is that your patients do not need to be referred out and are able to receive specialized care and receive 24-hour monitoring if needed.
