Radiation Therapist - Full Time - Day Shift Pay Range: \$39+/hour for entry level. Pay based on experience. Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Function -Administers radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricates blocks in preparation for treatment -Requires initiative and independent judgment -Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required -Performs radiation therapy treatments as required in either a scheduled or emergent environment under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist -Updates procedure manuals as needed -Manages daily treatment schedule of all assignments on the clinical equipment -Observes and demonstrates familiarity with all safety features in each clinical area -Works closely with reception, Nursing, and physician components in the provision of patient care Position Qualifications Experience -Minimum active exposure in approved program for Radiation Therapy Education and Training -Must have completed formal training from a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program License, Certification & Registration -MALIC - Massachusetts Radiology License -CPR - CPR Required -ARRT(T) - Radiation Therapy Other Requirements -Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment -Attendance at all mandatory education is required Benefits Berkshire Health Systems offers one of the most comprehensive Benefit Plans you can find!
