Veterinary Client Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our growing team at Osterville Veterinary Clinic. Our Doctors and staff are committed to a high standard of veterinary care and we receive a high satisfaction rating from our clients. The ideal candidate needs to be professional, have a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills. They also need to be computer literate, a good multi-tasker, be able to prioritize duties and have a strong work ethic. We are looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.

Why We Need You

The Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each client's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

• Customer service functions, including: answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms when applicable, supporting technicians with prescriptions.

• Scheduling and confirming appointments.

• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.

• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.

• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).

• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.

Must be available to work early evenings & weekends. Occasional holidays required. Customer Service/Retail Experience is helpful, but not required. Veterinary Customer Service Experience is a plus, but not required.
