Insight Global Part Time Dental Office Manger in Norwood, Massachusetts

Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking to hire a part-time Dental Office Manager to assist with the opening of a startup cosmetic dental office at the end of the month for new patients. The goal is to have someone in the door a few weeks before to partner with the owner and assist with the management and opening process. This role will start part-time (3 days a week and every other Saturday) for the first 4-6 months and then convert to full-time. Main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the dental office

  • Manage staff schedules and ensure efficient workflow

  • Handle patient scheduling and appointment confirmations

  • Book and verify insurance claims

  • Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

  • Coordinate with the call center for patient inquiries and follow-ups

  • Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed

  • Implement and manage office policies and procedures

  • Assist with financial management, including billing and collections

Provide exceptional customer service to patients

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an administrative office as a front desk manager

  • At least 6 months of dental office experience

  • Understanding of dental terminology and ability to handle tasks related to the dental industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage booking and verifying insurances

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills Plusses

  • Proficiency with Dentrix software and Weave dental administrative software

      * Experience with 1-2 years with adjacent dental software is considered

  • High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can thrive in a startup environment

  • Prior Startup environment experience null
