Cramer Account Director in Norwood, Massachusetts
Cramer Account Directors are veterans who know our client’s business intimately and have an invaluable perspective that ensures account retention and drives client growth. They connect the dots at both the macro and micro levels to effectively deliver on the agency’s relationship goals. And most importantly, they intimately learn our client’s business and have expertise across the marketing landscape to guide our clients appropriately.
Account Directors manage Cramer’s largest complex accounts independently. They must have unparalleled client relationship skills, industry expertise, and the ability to align tactics with the overall account strategy, all while owning the financial health within a diverse client portfolio. Account Directors play a critical role in building and growing relationships with V-suite clients.
This role requires a minimum of 4 days/week in office in Norwood, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage up to 2 large-sized/complex client relationships, informing Account Leadership as necessary
Form strong relationships with VP level clients to increase loyalty, proactively service the relationship and find organic opportunities for growth
Lead pitch and proposal efforts for associated accounts
Demonstrate strong financial management skills -- you can see the big and small picture simultaneously.
Owns account maintenance including planning meetings, growth plans, forecasting and communication of revenue expectations to internal teams
Understands the client’s business and the agency landscape, providing a POV to project team members and executive leadership when applicable
Role model and resource to junior staff (potential for direct reports)
Provide strategic recommendations and guidance to clients in early engagement conversations, with confidence
Requirements
10+ years of demonstrated agency experience in a client facing role, bonus if you have experience with professional or financial services organizations
Experience in B2B brand marketing, campaigns and/or experiential marketing
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong presentation and persuasion skills
Ability to manage complex accounts independently
