Bulger Veterinary Hospital is a unique General Practice and Specialty Hospital with 24hr Emergency Care 365 days a year. We are excited to announce that we are expanding into a brand-new state of the art 17,000sqft veterinary hospital just minutes down the road. We are expanding current services and adding more departments and specialties. Radiology is expanding to its own department and we are looking for the right technicians to join our team.
About the Job: As a Vet Tech in the Radiology department you will be responsible to:
Partner with Veterinarians in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, appointments, client communication, and procedures
Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment, including digital radiology, ultrasound and CT.
Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required. Recent graduates with an Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Veterinary Technology will be considered.
Strong knowledge and experience with computer systems and the ability to troubleshoot technology.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
