VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital is growing! We are seeking candidates that wish to support the DVM team and the hospital during this exciting period. We are looking for candidates at all levels of skill and experience, who wish to expand their current abilities.

VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital has been fortunate to work with pets and their people in the Newton community, for more than 45 years. This longevity has allowed us to develop lasting client relationships that span generations, of people and pets both! We are a four doctor, small animal practice that believes in the importance of dedicated client and patient care. We have a strong focus on preventative medicine, and strive to collaborate with pet parents to improve medical outcomes for our patients.

Typical tasks include:

• Client communication and education

• Taking accurate patient histories and electronic medical record management

• Supporting the DVM team with patient appointments, treatments and procedures

• Safe patient restraint, phlebotomy skills, hands-free radiology

• Surgery preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient post-op care

Compensation range: $19 – 22 per hour, dependent on skills and experience.
