RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

Job Description:

Responsible for all modes of respiratory care, neonate through adult.

One year of critical care experience and strong computer skills are required

Provides a safe environment for each patient to exercise and learn various techniques to improve their quality of life.

Proficient in patient assessments with attention to evaluating the patient's response to exercise or the need to modify exercise.

Proficient in education on asthma, chronic lung disease smoking and other related respiratory issues.

Able to effectively communicate patient's progress or problems to the Medical Director or referring physicians.

Able to effectively communicate patient's progress or problems to the Medical Director or referring physicians.

Provides ongoing patient follow-up upon completion of the program.

Demonstrates ability to utilize all equipment in the pulmonary rehab area, including cleaning, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Completes all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Must be MA licensed,

BLS, NRP & RRT or NRP & CRT/RRT within six months of hire required.

Every other weekend & holidays required
