Job Description:

Quality Specialist - 40 hrs/wk

The Quality Specialist is an active participant in the health care team who monitors, analyzes and reports quality management activities pursuant to hospital and regulatory requirements.

The Quality Specialist will track and analyze performance measures, perform core measure abstraction, conduct quality and medical record reviews and will support several quality improvement initiatives. Assists the Director in the coordination and implementation of quality, risk and patient safety activities.

Facilitate and lead QI projects. Clearly document progress, barriers, interventions, findings, and best practices for all QI projects.

Qualifications:

• Process improvement experience required; certification preferred.

• At least 2 years of director experience with the quality improvement process and quality improvement techniques to facilitate improvement in performance measures.

• BSN or other Bachelor's Degree with hospital-based quality experience.

• Massachusetts RN, LP, or RRT license required.
