Per Diem / On Call Acute Care RN Positions - Greater Boston

Overview of the Acute Care RN Position:

The Acute Care Home RN will visit patients in their homes, providing direct skilled nursing care and assessing health needs to manage symptoms and prevent disease exacerbation. The Acute Care Home RN works with the patient and their caregivers to promote, restore, and maintain health and minimize the effects of illness or injury. This Specialty Nurse will also provide infusion services.

Be a part of the VNA Care Specialty Services Division servicing patients in the hospital at home program - Medically Home as well as Infusion, COPD, telehealth and Care In Place programs. Comfort with technology and exceptional communication skills are essential.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or graduate of a diploma or Associate’s Degree program in nursing required.

Licensure:

Licensed to practice in Massachusetts

Experience:

Minimum of two years recent acute hospital experience as well as infusion therapy required. Experience in wound/ostomy care highly preferred. Experience with disease management, telemedicine, and home care preferred.
