The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Supply Technician to support our government customer located in Natick, Massachusetts. This position must be onsite at the Government facility and telecommuting is not feasible.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform physical distribution functions of a warehouse such as material receiving, storage, issuing and preservation (to include cold storage).

  • Receive, unload and process shipments.

  • Prepare receiving reports and determine basis for over, short or misplaced items.

  • Maintain and manage mission supply support activity for the receipt, distribution stock and disposition of consumable items.

  • Provide, coordinate, and monitor ordering of supplies and equipment by in-house staff, host installation support and/or through contractual programs.

  • Provide, coordinate, and monitor disposition of excess equipment by in-house staff, host installation support and/or through contractual programs.

  • Prepare and transport items and equipment to be scheduled for disposition.

  • Activities may require travel to destinations outside of the United States.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Requires licensure to operate a motor vehicle.

  • Requires the use of various Microsoft Office Products.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be skilled in using hand trucks, dollies, and similar warehouse equipment to move stock/items.

  • Must have knowledge and ability to operate a computer and copy machine.

  • Position requires the use of various Microsoft Office Products.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Active Secret clearance is required.
