Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part time (24 hours/week) inpatient position at Beth Israel Deaconess Milton, part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System. BID Milton is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Milton, MA .

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on a variety of inpatient units, including ICU;

• be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;

• participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects as assigned;

• support patient services as needed, approximately 20% of the time;

• be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and

• efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient service responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
