The Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess-Milton is seeking to recruit a part-time to full-time AP/CP trained pathologist (0.75-1.0 FTE position). Milton Hospital is a 100-bed community hospital with annual volumes of 495,000 clinical laboratory tests, and approximately 8,900 surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens. Milton is a diverse urban community, located within 10 miles of downtown Boston. â€¯
The position entails surgical pathology sign-out with a role in oversight of the clinical laboratories primarily at Milton Hospital; occasional coverage at BID-Needham is expected.
Applicants must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree and board certification in Anatomic Pathology and, ideally, Clinical Pathology, and be qualified to obtain a medical license in Massachusetts. We are seeking an outstanding surgical pathologist who shares our vision of excellence in diagnostic pathology.
