The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a Harvard Medical School (HMS) affiliate, is seeking an experienced physician to join its dynamic team as the Chief of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess-Milton. The job will entail daily supervision of clinical operations of a thriving community hospital within the BI-Lahey network. The successful candidate will join our department of more than 70 faculty who serve the Medical Center’s main campus and a network of community hospitals and outpatient locations. As a member of the Community Radiology Section, the candidate will focus his/her efforts at Beth Israel Deaconess-Milton, with occasional assignments at other community locations. The Chief will work closely with department and hospital leadership to deliver exceptional quality radiology services to Milton Hospital. The candidate will interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies (US, CT, fluoroscopy), perform minor IR procedures (e.g. joint injections, CT and ultrasound biopsies, PICC lines and abscess drainages) and provide a consultative practice to the hospital medical staff. All faculty in our supportive team participate equally in a call pool for after hours and weekend coverage.
