Milford Regional Medical Center Nurse Manager, Cath Lab in Milford, Massachusetts
Statement of Purpose:
The Cath Lab Nurse Manager is responsible for oversight of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology EP Lab. The Nurse Manager of Cath Lab will provide staff oversight, develop policies and procedures, and implement quality improvement practices.Directs the clinical and operational aspects of cardiology services, to include the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Electrophysiology Laboratory, Peripheral Intervention, and noninvasive cardiology services (ECHO, TEE, and stress testing).
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager plans and implements the overall policies, procedures, and services of the cardiac catheterization lab. Ensures efficient and effective lab operations, including quality control and compliance with regulations and policies. Supports Cardiologists with service delivery and resources. Responsible for hiring and training of new employees as well as budgetary control for the lab. Additionally, the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
2-3 years’ experience in Cath Lab and EP required
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred
Current RN license in Massachusetts-Current CPR skills and ACLS required
Management experience and 5 years progressive clinical experience
