Milford Regional Medical Center Histology Technician - Laboratory in Milford, Massachusetts
Statement of Purpose: Works under the direction of the Histology Manager, in conjunction with the Pathology Assistant, in performing a variety of histological functions in the production of surgical, cytological and autopsy slides in preparation for diagnosis. May be asked to learn and assist with the grossing functions in the absence of the Pathology Assistant. Qualifications: Education: Associates degree required. Certification / License: HT (ASCP) certification preferred. Experience: Two years experience in a Histology lab preferred.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
