Statement of Purpose: Working as a part of a team, the position involves different assignments in all aspects in the processing of a full range of surgical instrumentation. Assembles properly inspected, processed surgical instruments, carts, and equipment according to kit lists to meet the demands of quality patient care. Restocking of the specialty carts for use by various departments of the hospital. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or GED. Successful completion of a Central Service certificate course. Certification / License: Certification by a Central Service Association required. Maintain re-certification with 12 education credits annually.
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
