Job Description:

Beth Israel Lahey Health is excited to announce the opening of a new Urgent Care clinic in Middleboro, MA. The Urgent Care team is currently searching for Lead Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to provide clinical supervision and operational oversight of all departmental advanced practitioners, and to work with administrative leadership to implement process and clinical improvement.

Details:

  • Full time; 40 hrs/week

  • Growing practice; new location

  • Responsible for orientation, training, and mentoring of newly hired Advanced Practitioners.

  • Responsible for monitoring productivity

  • Participates in interviewing and hiring additional APP staff

  • In consultation with the Department Chair, provide input to performance reviews

  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the department leadership team

  • Some off shift work hours may be required

  • Carrying a beeper as necessary may be required

  • Perform various direct patient care tasks

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program

  • Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • DEA

  • MCSR
