Description
We are in search of a Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Methuen, Massachusetts. With a focus on superior medical care, this role involves various responsibilities from processing patient applications to managing patient inquiries. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Must be bilingual in Spanish / English
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process patient applications, ensuring all information is correctly captured.
• Closely monitor patient accounts and take necessary action where required.
• Handle patient inquiries effectively, providing necessary information and guidance.
• Utilize medical office skills to enhance the process of patient care coordination.
• Develop and implement effective patient care strategies tailored to our healthcare organization's needs.
• Utilize Spanish language and translation skills to communicate with a diverse patient base.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline patient care processes and maintain efficient communication channels.
• Participate in community events to promote our healthcare services and patient care standards.
Requirements • Proficiency in the use of medical office software and systems
• Fluent in Spanish language, both written and spoken
• Experience in Spanish translation, particularly in a healthcare or medical setting
• Ability to coordinate patient care activities effectively
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Experience with patient scheduling and appointment management
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and medical ethics
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
• Proven capability to handle stressful situations in a calm and detail oriented manner
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary
• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous
