Wellforce Virtual Observer in Melrose, Massachusetts
Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients from a remote monitor station via live feed video. Supports clinical staff by identifying risky behaviors and verbally redirecting the patient, summons staff when necessary, and handles emergencies and troubleshooting appropriately. Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies. Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of the use of the AvaSys TeleSitter Solution software. Maintains visual observation at all times. Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device that is in patient room. Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
High School diploma or equivalent. Requires in-service training. Must be able to communicate effectively - must be able to work as a team member. Prior experience in working with patients is helpful. Good communication skills. Good telephone etiquette. Able to identify scope of task and perform it in a timely and efficient manner.
