Wellforce Call Center Associate in Melrose, Massachusetts
Under the direction of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services and the Clinical Nutrition Manager, this position is responsible for obtaining patients’ menu choices that are within their dietary restrictions. In addition, this position is responsible for checking the tray line for accuracy and temperature. Collaborates with members of the Food and Nutrition Services team to provide appropriate meal choices to patients. Communicate with Registered Dietitians for nutrition consults and when necessary to improve patient care. Prints patient census with diet orders and reconciles with dietary software. Answer room service telephone calls and communicates room service orders to the kitchen staff. Obtain patients’ food preferences.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Nutrition education background preferred. Familiarity with Food and Nutrition Services Department in a hospital setting helpful. Experience as a Diet Assistant preferred with on-the-job training provided. Must be able to read and write in English, make simple calculations, and follow oral and written directions. Strong customer service skills required.
